Meet Matthew

Tenor Matthew Greenblatt hails from Port Washington, NY. For the 25/26 season, he looks forward to singing concerts in New York, Nashville, and Le Mans, France alongside his wife soprano, Brooklyn Snow. He will also be returning to Opera Santa Barbara to sing the role of Frank Shallard in Elmer Gantry. In recent seasons, Mr Greenblatt has performed the roles of Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods with Union Avenue Opera, Alfred in a Concert version of Die Fledermaus with Eugene Opera, Fabrizio Naccarelli in the Light in the Piazza with Opera Santa Barbara, Bastien in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne with the Midsummer Mozart Festival and the role of Tony in West Side Story with both the Northwest Indiana Symphony and New Philharmonic Orchestra in Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Greenblatt made his Carnegie Hall debut as an Emerging Artist Soloist with Choirs of America. Mr. Greenblatt was a Chrisman studio artist with Opera Santa Barbara, and an Apprentice Artist with Palm Beach Opera. He was also a finalist in the New York International Vocal Competition. Mr. Greenblatt and his wife Brooklyn reside in Nashville with their two daughters.
